About Us

 The South Sixth Street Playground Association was formed in 1927 for the purpose of maintaining a public playground and recreation center. Neighbors have maintained this playground since then. In 2010, the playground was renovated into a fully ADA compliant facility with restrooms.

In 2021, the basketball court was rebuilt into the Sevco Courts-with 2 regulation courts, bleachers, and lights.
